THE Moalboal archery team was on target in the Provincial Meet, taking home 12 gold medals including a sweep of the Team Trio event in Carcar City.
Reglena Catherine B. Dio, the daughter of MNHS teacher Rechil B. Dio and Tomonoy Barangay Captain Marvin, led the haul with seven gold medals and one silver.
She took the gold medal in the 30 meters, 50 meters, 60 meters, 70 meters, and the Olympic Round, and teamed up with Angel Abrenica and Rachelle Grace Clark to win the Girls Team Trio gold medal. Dio also finished first overall in the FITA ranking to book her spot in the Cviraa.
On the other hand, Dwayne Jaden S. Abenido also won the gold medal in the Boys 60 meters, while Trevor Desmond S. Sanchez got the gold medal in the Boys 70 meters.
Abenido, Sanchez and John Andrew Zabala also won the gold medal in the Boys Team Trio, while Abenido and Dio got a silver medal in the mixed team event.
On the other hand, Clark got the bronze in the Girls 30 meters and 60 meters and was fourth overall in the FITA ranking, good enough for a spot in the Cviraa.
Abenido, who added a bronze in the Olympic Round, finished first overall in the FITA qualifiers, while Sanchez got third place. Both will represent Cebu Province in the Cviraa.
