The Municipality of Moalboal has been designated as the Mobile Kitchen Hub for the entire 7th District, enabling the rapid preparation and distribution of hot meals to communities affected by Bagyong Basyang. From this central hub, assistance is being mobilized toward the municipalities of Malabuyoc, Samboan, Ginatilan, Badian, Ronda, and Alcantara, ensuring that support reaches every affected area efficiently.
Mayor Inocentes “Titing” Cabaron expressed gratitude for the trust placed in Moalboal, emphasizing the municipality’s commitment to extend help beyond its borders. He highlighted that this activity aims to feed 1,000 evacuees and displaced Cebuanos, underscoring the district’s shared commitment to compassion, unity, and swift humanitarian action.
The Mobile Kitchen operations are being carried out in coordination with the Office of the 7th District Representative, MDRRMOs, volunteers, barangay responders, and partner agencies. Hot meals are now being delivered to evacuation centers and hard-hit areas, ensuring immediate comfort and support for families affected by the storm.
