Key officials of the Municipal Government of Moalboal conducted an inspection of the Moalboal Public Market to check its cleanliness, order, and overall accessibility for marketgoers and vendors. The activity forms part of the LGU’s continuing effort to maintain a safe, organized, and people-friendly marketplace for residents and visitors who rely on the area for their daily needs.
The inspection team was led by Municipal Administrator Atty. Nel Ediza, together with Municipal Sanitation Office representative Mylene Deniega, MENRO representative Nina Floreñozos, and Market Supervisor Lura Tarongoy. They walked through stalls, passageways, and common areas to check compliance with sanitation standards, proper waste disposal, and the proper arrangement of goods to avoid obstruction and congestion in busy sections of the market.
By ensuring that aisles remain clear and facilities are kept clean, the LGU aims to make the public market more accessible and comfortable, especially for senior citizens, persons with disability, and parents with young children. The Municipal Government of Moalboal also calls on both vendors and buyers to cooperate in preserving cleanliness and order in the market as part of their shared responsibility to safeguard public health and promote a pleasant buying experience for everyone.
