The Municipality of Moalboal officially launches the Agri-Fishery Trade Fair 2026 this week, a centerpiece event of the Moalboal Town Fiesta 2026 celebration anchored on this year’s theme: “Moalboal 2026: Kabilin, Kauswagan, ug Kalambuan — Padayon sa Dagway sa Paraiso” (Heritage, Progress, and Prosperity — Onward as the Face of Paradise). The trade fair gathers local farmers, fisherfolk, cooperatives, and micro-entrepreneurs at the Municipal Hall grounds to showcase the town’s finest harvests from both land and sea.
This year’s trade fair builds on Moalboal’s recent triumph at the Province of Cebu’s 456th Founding Anniversary Agri-Fishery Trade Fair, where the town bagged the prestigious “Highly Decorated Booth” award at the Capitol Grounds, Cebu City. That recognition inspired an even grander hometown showcase designed to highlight Moalboal’s creativity, craftsmanship, and agricultural bounty.
Under the leadership of Mayor Inocentes G.
