Ronda emerged as champion in the Sayaw sa Pagpahayag District-Level Dance Competition held at the Moalboal Gymnasium on February 21, 2026, as part of the Cebu Provincial Arts Month celebration. With a powerful routine that combined precision, creativity, and strong thematic interpretation, the Ronda contingent won the judges’ nod in a tightly contested field of performers.
Host municipality Moalboal delivered an equally impressive performance and finished as 1st Runner-Up, trailing Ronda by a slim margin of only 0.6% in the final tally. The neck-and-neck results drew loud cheers from the crowd and highlighted the depth of talent among the youth performers. Local officials lauded all contingents, coaches, and organizers for using dance as a platform to express stories, culture, and aspirations, and vowed continued support for similar arts and youth development programs in the district.
