The Moalboal table tennis and taekwondo teams also made their mark in the Cebu Provincial Meet, bagging a silver medal and four bronze medals.
Aaliyah A Cañete got a silver medal in Singles B, while Niña T. Empas and Scar Veerey L. Paquera added a bronze in girls doubles. Kent Anton Dio and Charles Niño A. Languita also added a bronze in boys doubles.
Aside from the medalist, John Benedict Hernandez made the quarterfinal round in Singale A boys, while Rolf Jfel Carwayne Allego made the final 8 in Singles B. Mary Nina Y. Boniol also made it to the quarterfinal round of the girls Single A category.
In taekwondo, Zhayne Niño D. Ridaza won the town’s first bronze medal in Poomsae after finishing third in the individual elementary division, while Alquinora Eunice Delgado also secured a bronze medal in the elementary female Kyorugi division.
