Moalboal Mayor Inocentes G. Cabaron recently met with Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) representatives Syemoun T. Hamoy and Engr. Victor Tulod II to discuss the implementation of a P1-million livelihood assistance package for the town’s senior citizens.
The meeting focused on how the program will be rolled out to ensure maximum benefit for Moalboal’s elderly residents. Representing the Moalboal Senior Citizen Federation were Eddie Gomez and Romeo Pableo, who expressed their gratitude for the initiative and shared insights on the needs of their members.
Mayor Cabaron welcomed the support from DOLE, saying the assistance will not only provide sustainable livelihood opportunities but also empower seniors to continue contributing to the community.
