🏝️ HOW TO GET TO MOALBOAL, CEBU

🚩 Option 1: From Cebu City

Step 1: Go to Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT)

  • Location: N. Bacalso Avenue, Cebu City (near Elizabeth Mall)

  • How to get there:

    • Take a taxi or Grab from your hotel or the airport.

    • Travel time from Mactan-Cebu International Airport: 30–60 minutes, depending on traffic.

Step 2: Ride a Bus to Moalboal

  • At the terminal, look for Ceres Liner buses bound for:

    • “Bato via Barili” (NOT “Bato via Oslob”)

  • Bus type options:

    • Air-conditioned: ₱200–₱250

    • Non-aircon: ₱150–₱200

  • Travel time: 2.5 to 3.5 hours

🕓 Tip: Buses leave roughly every 30 minutes from early morning until late evening.

Step 3: Get off at Moalboal Town or Panagsama Beach

  • You can get off at Moalboal Public Market if you’re staying nearby.

  • If you’re heading to Panagsama Beach, take a tricycle or habal-habal (motorbike taxi) from the market.

    • Fare: ₱50–₱150

    • Travel time: 10–15 minutes


✈️ Option 2: From Mactan-Cebu International Airport (Direct Route)

If you want to skip Cebu City:

  1. Hire a private van or taxi from the airport directly to Moalboal.

    • Travel time: 3–4 hours

    • Cost: ₱3,000–₱4,000 (depending on negotiation or booking app)

  2. Alternative: Some travel agencies offer shared van transfers to Moalboal.

    • Cost: ₱700–₱1,000 per person


🚗 Option 3: Driving Yourself (Car or Motorcycle)

  • Route: Cebu City → Minglanilla → San Fernando → Carcar → Barili → Dumanjug → Alcantara → Moalboal

  • Distance: ~90 km

  • Estimated travel time: 2.5–3 hours

  • Road condition: Generally good, with scenic coastal and mountain views.
