Some 75 tanods from the 15 barangays joined the three-day barangay police action team training initiated by the LGU and the Moalboal PNP. The activity, which was attended by Police T. Col. Le B Ty, the PCADU/BPAT course director of the Cebu Provincial Police and Police Captain Elmond John Mondaya will last for three days.
In a short speech, Mayor Titing Cabaron thanked the tanod for their dedication in keeping the peace despite not getting a huge amount as an honorarium. He also told them not to risk their lives by going after hardened criminals but instead to coordinate and contact the police should it be needed.
