MCT-AC/MSWDO Jake Gador and Pob. West barangay captain Tarcisio D. Bolo lead the ribbon cutting for the installation of 65 solar street lights on June 27, 2023. The Kalahi-initiated project initially had 33 solar lights but the number was increased due to the savings they got.
Bolo thanked the LGU and Kalahi for helping replaced their street lights that were damaged during Super Typhoon Odette in 2021 and for tapping local volunteers in the project implementation. Aside from Gador, the LGU was represented by Municipal Engineer Katrina Lisondra, Municipal Account Marion Labong, while Councilor Jinky Hannika represented Vice Mayor Paz Rozgoni.
