Cebu Province’s Coronavirus-2019 Multi-sectoral Task Force will implement the same quarantine protocols for passengers coming from the North Gyeongsang Province of South Korea. This after the national government’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease approved the entry ban earlier today.
After an emergency meeting with DOH Regional Director Jaime Bernadas and Bureau of Quarantine chief Dr. Terrence Bermejo, Governor Gwendolyn Garcia said the Province is already preparing for more passengers to be housed in its quarantine facilities if the national government decides to expand the ban order.
She also clarified that Cebuano arrivals will be prioritized while those coming from other provinces will be referred to their respective local government units. | KIN #sugbonews2020
